Coach start 8.30am

Wisley (RHS)

The Royal Horticultural Society garden at Wisley is a unique and enchanting place with richly planted borders, luscious rose gardens and great glasshouses. The gardens cover 240 acres with formal and informal areas and small scale model gardens.

There are a variety of places to eat, a large gift shop and plant centre.

Wheelchairs are available for £5.00 but do need to be booked in advance.

Monday 7 November

RNLI Tour & Lunch (no transport - meet at the venue)

This is your chance to see behind the scenes at the national headquarters of one of the country’s leading charities, including some of their amazing high-tech facilities. Please note that the tours last 1 to 1½ hours and involve quite a lot of walking. The cost includes a two-course lunch with coffee in a private dining room after the tour.

There is no visitor parking on site, but there are public car parks nearby – a map and details will be sent with your tickets.

Monday 12 December

Coach start 9am

Romsey Abbey & King John's House

We arrive at Romsey Abbey at 11 am for a guided tour of this fine Norman Abbey, contemporary with the cathedral in Durham. Lunch in Romsey, your choice and expense.

2.15pm meet at King John’s House, opposite the Abbey, for a guided tour of this 13th century building, followed by tea in the Tudor Cottage which is a timber-framed building with a delightful tearoom, part of the same group of buildings.

A visit to this fascinating and unique house on the River Exe in Devon.
