We try to hold a series of social events for members and their friends through the year. The idea is to give members a chance to meet each other and enjoy themselves, without the whole-day commitment involved in most of the outings.

We hold some of them in the evenings to make them more accessible for people who can't get to our daytime events. Booking forms for all events are in the latest Newsletter, or you can ask the Publicity Secretary to email you a booking form.

Unlike our outings, transport isn't provided unless stated.

Dinner at Minterne House

A rare opportunity to see inside this fascinating house, which is not usually open to the public.

There will be a personally guided tour of the House with either Lord Digby or the Hon. Henry Digby.  A 2 course buffet-style dinner, which will include wine, coffee and chocolates, will be served in the large dining-room.

The gardens are open until 6pm, so you could look at these beforehand, but please note that some of the paths are uneven and steep making access difficult for less mobile people.
